What People Are Saying

Philadelphia Model Untied Nations debuted in 2006, and rave reviews are already streaming in from everyone who attended.  The following comments are just a small cross-section of what people are saying about the experience.  Explore the PhilMUN website for more information about the conference in 2007!

I was very impressed by the overall committee sessions and IDIA conference as a whole.  Small committee sizes ensured personal and effective debate.  Chairs were also extremely helpful and informative regarding resolutions and general questions.

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.  I thought that the simulation was very detailed, with the various memos and foreign visitors.  It is evident that the conference staff worked very hard to create this situation, and they did a fantastic job.

I very much enjoyed debate.  The hotel was outstanding and the topics were very thought-proviking.

The small committee groups allowed for a better flavor of debate.  The chairs were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

I like the smaller size of this conference because I feel as though I was able to participate more than I had in NAIMUN last year.  I like the incorporation of NGOs.

Student, South Brunswick High School

I felt like the more participation I exhibited, the greater enjoyment I acheived.

Student, Harriton High School

I like the discussion and de-briefing periods because it provided constructive closure to the topics.
